Rens de Man is Senior Advisor water and climate governance with the Water Partner Foundation. Furthermore, he works at The Hague Institute for Global Justice as researcher and mediator. He has over 15 years of experience with partnership building and the development of sustainable solutions that address complex physical and social dynamics and policy challenges.
He acquired profound knowledge and skills in stakeholder analysis, negotiation, integrated natural resource governance, uncertainty analysis and strategic policy advice to address sustainable development issues and social conflicts around the use of natural resources. Rens de Man is currently finalizing a Ph.D. on the Governance of Natural Resources at the Disaster Studies Group of Wageningen University, assigned by the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL).
